Updating Blox!

Instructions:

1.     If you have version (0.12.b) or greater then all you need to do is select Help/Update Blox from the menu.  (you first need to have selected Properties/Blox Location to point to your current blox.jar file). If you have version (0.12.a) or lower then start at step 2:

2.     Download the latest blox.jar file into the …/jre/lib/ext directory (a subdirectory of where you have your jre installed.

3.     This will replace the original Blox.jar file.

4.     Delete all *.scm files from your blox home directory

5.     Install JRE 1.3…you can check which version you have by going to the command line and typing “java –version”.  If you don’t have version 1.3.0 (Not 1.3.0rc1 or 1.3.0rc2), uninstall the version you have and download/install version 1.3 from the Sun website

6.     If you would like to install the JRE Server VM download and install from the Sun website.  If you want to change from client to server or vice-versa, just re-run the install program and select the desired option.  For a description of the difference between the client and server VM click here.

7.     You are done!
