Who Am I?
Allyssa graduated in May 2007 with a B.A. in Psychology
from the University of Connecticut. While in college, she did a lot of
volunteer and internship work in the field of counseling, including
mentoring students on academic probation and facilitating a
cognitive-behavioral group therapy at Donald T. Bergin Correctional Facility
in Storrs, CT. Allyssa is very interested in many aspects of research and
is focusing her time at the Olin Center in experiencing and learning about
many different aspects of psychology. She is looking forward to a rewarding
career in either counseling or clinical psychology.
Roles & Responsibilities
Allyssa’s main responsibility is to recruit
participants for the Alcohol and Driving fMRI research study and to collect,
manage and analyze the study data and assist in running the
Alzheimer’s Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI) study. She is also
involved with data analysis for other smaller projects.
