Who Am I?

Alexis graduated in May 2007 with a B.S. in Neuroscience and Psychology from King’s College. While at King’s she focused her senior seminar research project on investigating the effects of the Ketogenic diet on visuospatial learning and memory in adolescent rats. She also aided in researching the effects of pharmaceuticals, specifically sertraline, on the behavior of aquatic organisms. Alexis joined the Olin Neuropsychiatry team in January 2008 as a research assistant in the Psychosis / Biomarkers research project and also in the Schizophrenia and Bipolar Multi-site project. She is interested in the genetic and neuropsychological components of these disorders. In the future, Alexis hopes to eventually obtain her Ph.D. in the field of Neuroscience.
