Who Am I?

Abeer graduated in May 2008 from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Allied Health Sciences. While in college she spent some time working with Valerie Duff on several projects focusing in on Public Health and Nutrition. Her ultimate plan is to go onto graduate school and pursue a Masters degree in Public Health. She joined the Olin Neuropsychiatry Research Center in June 2008 as a Research Assistant to the Alzheimer’s Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI) project and the Lance Bauer project. She helps in collecting and managing data, conducting assessments, administering neuropsychological testing, and analyzing study data.
