Who Am I?
Christina graduated in
May 2009 from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelors of Arts in
Psychology and a minor in Neuroscience. She worked as a research assistant
in one of UConn’s Clinical Psychology labs in which she did her honors
thesis on Head and Body Growth in Infants Later Diagnosed with Autism
Spectrum Disorders: A Comparative Study of Optimal Outcome Children.
Christina joined the ONRC as a research assistant in May 2009 and plans to
obtain her PhD in Clinical Neuropsychology.
Roles & Responsibilities
Christina’s primary role is as a research assistant for the fMRI, PET and
the Default Mode Network Classify MCI and AD study, and Buspirone Efficacy
and its Brain Correlates in the Treatment of Anxiety in Autism Spectrum
Disorders study. She also assists in the study Characterizing Two Distinct
ADHD Neurobiologies with fMRI. Her responsibilities include recruitment of
volunteers, administration of clinical interviews and neuropsychological
assessments, and data management.
