Who Am I?
Emily earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Columbia University in
May 2009. At Columbia, she worked in the Affect and Relationships Lab as a
research assistant under the supervision of Dr. Eshkol Rafaeli and served as
a teaching assistant for Developmental Psychology. Her senior project
examined the impact of religion on adolescent identity formation and
psychosocial development. Emily began at the Olin Neuropsychiatry Research
Center in August 2009, and in the future plans to pursue a PhD in Clinical
Psychology with a focus on child and adolescent psychology.
Roles & Responsibilities
Emily’s primary role
is coordinating the Adolescent Maturation of Brain Network Integration for
Executive Control Abilities fMRI study. Her responsibilities include
participant recruitment, data collection and management, neuropsychological
assessment, and administration of clinical interviews for adolescent and
young adult populations
