Who Am I?
Ethan earned his B.A. from
Williams College in June 2008 with a double major in Psychology and
Political Economy. At Williams, his Psychology major empirical project
involved evaluating the suitability of an abbreviated personality trait
diagnostic test as a teaching tool substitute for the NEO-PI-R. He has
experience working with clinical populations as a counselor at both
Hillcrest Educational Centers’ Intensive Treatment Unit in Hancock, MA and
the John L. Gildner Regional Institute for Children and Adolescents in
Rockville, MD. At the Olin Neuropsychiatry Research Center, Ethan hopes to
gain experience using neuroimaging techniques in a clinical research
setting. In the future, he plans to attend medical school.
Roles and Responsibilities
Ethan's primary role is
acting as the study coordinator for the project "Characterizing Two Distinct
ADHD Neurobiologies with fMRI" in the Clinical Neuroscience and Development
Laboratory. His responsibilities include participant recruitment, the
administration of diagnostic clinical interviews and neuropsychological
assessments, data management and analysis, and assisting with MRI operation.
