Who Am I?
Melissa Andrews earned a B.A. in Psychology at the
University of Connecticut. While in college she spent some time in the
Psychology department working under Crystal Park focusing on stress related
research and volunteering at the Olin Neuropsychiatry Research Center. Upon
graduating in 2006, she joined the Cognition,
Brain Imaging, Behavior Research and Allelic Variation Laboratory at the
Olin Center as a Research Assistant. She is currently involved with the
Alzheimer’s Disease Neuroimaging Initiative study as well as the Ventral
Striatal Functional Deficits and Familial Alcoholism Risk study. She is
currently working towards her BSN.
Roles & Responsibilities
Melissa is the study coordinator of the
Alzheimer’s Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI) study
and the Ventral Striatal Functional Deficits and Familial Alcoholism Risk
study. Her main responsibilities include recruiting participants,
collecting and managing data, conducting assessments, administering
neuropsychological testing, completing all Institutional Review Board (IRB)
information and analyzing study data.
