Who Am I?
Steven earned a B.S. in psychology from Trinity College
in December of 2007. His undergraduate thesis, The Gender Light Switch:
Men's Gender Role Expression in the Workplace and in Marriage, has been
accepted for presentation at the 2008 Annual American Psychological
Association Convention. Upon completing his undergraduate studies, he joined
the Olin Neuropsychiatry Research Center as a research assistant in the
Virtual Reality Laboratory. His research interests include the development
and maintenance of gender roles, health psychology (especially related to
cancer diagnoses), altruistic behaviors and attitudes, and personal
relationships. Steven plans on continuing his academics toward a Ph.D. in
the field of Human Development and Family Studies.
