I also spent two years doing clinical work with children with behavioral disorders and autism in a wrap-around program. I have recently refined my interests somewhat, and would like to study assessment and behavioral treatments for children. I will be applying for clinical PhD programs this autumn with the hope of pursuing a career in clinical child research. My ultimate goal is to be involved in clinical studies of behavioral treatments for children and possibly autism, so that I may help the participants of studies while helping to advance the science as well.
