What is DOS4GW, and what do I need to know about it?

DOS4GW is the protected mode memory manager used by VAPP to manage extended memory.  It needs to be present in the VAPP directory, or somewhere in the DOS PATH, but other than that its execution is completely automatic.  If you ever see an error message that includes the DOS4GW name followed by a register dump, it is likely that you have a configuration problem and should contact us for additional help.
